Rain had been walking around the house, thinking about everything that had happened. As she wandered down towards the study, she noticed Glory standing in the hall. "Hey." was all Rain said. "Oh," Glory responded, seeming to be in a world of her own. "Are you okay?" Rain asked. Glory looked at her. "Yes, I am fine." Rain started to walk away, but Glory grabbed her hand. "I don't like this house." "What do you mean?" Rain asked. "There is something evil in here, I can feel it." Rain wanted to go into the study, Glory seemed to be out of it and it was making her feel uneasy. "Evil?" "Yes. You will think I am crazy, but I have a gift," Glory told her. "A gift? What kind of gift?"
"When I was eight, my mother told me I could speak to the dead. She showed me how to channel my gift, and after months of trying I finally was able to talk to the dead. Since I have been here, I've heard voices, and they sound as if they are in pain. I can't understand them, however they are in pain," Glory told her. "We need to get away from here." Rain looked around the hall, not knowing what to say. "Well, we have to stay here for now, until Matt and Ralf return." "Only one will truly return," Glory said, turning to walk away from Rain. "Wait," Rain said, grabbing Glory's arm. "What did you mean by that?" "Nothing," Glory said, softly, as she walked away from Rain.

"Where are we?" Ralf asked, annoyed. "We passed this bush ten minutes ago, I think we have done a complete circle," Matt said. "This is just stupid," Ralf moaned. "I don't understand it, we have marked these bushes, but they have gone, but our footprints are still here. I think there is someone else here with us," Matt said, looking around, but finding no other footprints. "Let's keep going for a while," Ralf suggested. "And if we end up here again, then we will go back." Matt agreed, and they started to walk into the trees again.

Rain had followed Glory into the living room. As she was about to ask her what she had meant by the remark she had said in the hall, she noticed that the room was empty. The chairs, sofa and bookcases were gone. "Where is everything?" Rain asked. "I don't know," Glory said, looking around the room. "This is all getting too weird," Rain said, turning to face Glory. "Oh," Glory said, her eyes wild with fear. "What?" Rain asked. "They are calling to me, they are yelling something, but I don't know what," Glory said, holding her head as if in pain. "Try to understand," Rain said, she was looking around the room, trying to see what Glory could hear. "This doesn't make sense, it's all to mixed up. I can't handle this, I need to get out of here," Glory said, running out of the room and up the stairs.
