Rain stood at the mirror of her bedroom, the bedroom she guessed was now hers anyway. In a house where things had a way of defying the norm, something like this should not have made her as scared as she was. Maybe it was because all the other weird events had happened around her. This one had happened to her, and it seemed to make it all worse. She had awoken to find herself changed. Her hair was now long and she wore a strange headdress that, if she was honest, she liked. Her clothes were gone and replaced by a gown. It looked old, Rain had no idea of what period it was from, but it didn't look like something you could pick up at Gap. Around her, the room had also changed. The walls that were once wooden were now stripped back to the brickwork. The bed had changed also. The only thing that was the same was this old mirror that now looked right at home in this seemingly lost world she was not stuck in. After ten minutes of looking at herself in shock, she heard someone outside her room and rushed out.

"What the hell?" Matt yelled out as he saw Rain standing at her door. "So you are the same?" she asked. "I am starting to get really scared Matt." "I think we really need to talk to Daniel and Glory, and see about getting the heck out of here," he told her. "Your right. I am really trying to stay calm about this but it is getting hard to do so," she told him. "Matt, what are we going to do?" "I don't know Rain, I really don't know. Ralf and I tried to get help once but we just ended up back here." "Are the others awake?" she asked. "I don't know," he said and rushed upstairs.

The group gathered in the living room which had been filled, once again, with furniture. It was all older than the other furniture that had been in the room. It was clear that they all had changed, and the rooms around them had somehow reverted back to what they once looked like years before the group of strangers had arrived some days before. Daniel sat down with a sigh and started to speak. "I think it is time for us to try and get away from here. I don't know why we have stayed so long, maybe we are just scared of what maybe out there. I guess it doesn't matter now. We should leave as soon as we can. We need to gather some fruit and find something to hold water from the pond outside. I hate the fact we are forced to use that water which I am sure is making us all start to feel quite ill, I know my stomach is churning after I drink it. It's all we have, and not drinking it would be worse believe me. We should get started," he told them all. "What about Debra?" Rain asked. "I think it is safe to say she is gone. Sad as I am to say it, it looks that way." Rain, although she didn't want to, agreed.

Debra awoke outside the basement doorway on the morning of the change inside the house. She stood at the wall that blocked off the door, not even noticing her clothes were different. She waited. It was almost time for her to make her entrance and she knew it. Something inside her was telling her her time was close. As if it heard her, someone spoke. "It's time for you to enter my realm," the voice said. "How do I do this? This door is blocked and I don't have the strength to climb over." "You will be helped. Close your eyes and wish, wish the bricks away, and they shall obey. They shall let you inside."

Debra closed her eyes and wished. When she opened them, the wall was gone and the door opened. She looked into the dark room, and entered. As the door closed, the wall reappeared. Debra was inside the basement that had been sealed for over a hundred years.
