"How is he?" Rain asked as she entered the living room. Glory looked up at Rain, her eyes were rimmed with black, she looked tired. "He is still sleeping. It's not looking good." "I can't believe this is happening to him. He was the one who was getting us through all of this." "He is old. I doubt the stress of this would have done him any good, and he was talking about his heart being weak the other day," Glory told Rain. "We can't leave him here. We should put the escape on hold until we know what is going to happen to him. If we can take him with us, we should. The way he is looking, I doubt we will be able to move him for a few days," Rain said, her voice shaking. "I will keep watch over him. If anything happens I will yell," Glory said as she took a look at Daniel. "Thanks," Rain said as she left.

Matt was sitting in the study when Rain entered and took a seat next to him. Even though this situation was getting more and more grave as time passed by, she still couldn't help feel the way she did about Matt. He was everything she could want in a man, but he was out of reach. He looked up at her. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah, fine. What are you up to?" "Reading this diary. Most of it doesn't make sense. The stories contradict each other." "What are you saying?" Rain asked. "I think that this was put here to make us believe something other than the truth." "I wouldn't be surprised. Nothing will ever surprise me again after this," Rain said as Matt snapped the book shut. "How is Dan?" Rain looked at him, with that longing she has felt since she saw Matt for the first time. "Not good."

Glory was watching over Daniel when her head started to hurt. Her head started to spin. She could hear the faint sound of someone talking, as if it was in the next room. It started to get louder. "Glory," the voice said to her. "Come to the basement door, and you will find the answers you have been looking for. Don't tell a soul, and you will complete your destiny." Glory stood and walked over to the door. She looked down at Daniel, her head still hurting and her vision started doubling. She fell backwards, as if someone had been gripping her but she broke free. Glory looked around the room, the daze wearing off as she regained control of herself. She had to tell someone about what just happened.

"Guys," Glory yelled as she burst through the study door. "I heard a voice, and it told me to go to the basement door." "What are you talking about?" Matt asked. "We need to go to the basement, something is going to happen and we need to find out what." Rain stood, looking down at her stomach where her baby was still growing, and she felt a maternal instinct start up. She didn't want to put her child in danger, but somehow knew that was going to happen. She looked at Glory and said. "Okay, let's go."
