"It's open," Rain said as she pointed to the door. "Should we go down?" Glory asked. "I guess we need to, if we want this to be over with," Matt said as he headed down first. As he was about to open the door, Daniel cried out from the house. "Stay here," Rain said. She rushed inside to find Daniel sitting up. He looked at her. "Rain. I saw her. She is in the basement. I didn't see her face, but I know she is pure evil. Rain, you must leave." He looked at her and fell back to the seat. He took a long breath, and then stopped breathing. He died, and Rain started to cry.

"I couldn't stop her," Matt yelled as Rain came outside again. "We need to get out of here," she said, still sobbing. "What happened in there?" "Daniel is dead, but he told us to get away now. We need to get her out of there." "Okay. Let's get moving," Matt said as they both entered the basement. The door slammed shut behind them as they walked inside. Glory turned to look at them. "This place is evil." The room was dark, and very cold. The smell of damp made their stomachs roll. Whatever this place was used for, it clearly had been to store something liquid. Stains on the paved floor of red and purple still remained. Rain tried the door, but it was locked. "Oh God," she said. "What are we going to do now?"

"Look," Matt said as he picked up a stuffed bear. Rain looked at the worn bear and smiled. Once it would have been used by a small child who couldn't have been happier. Now it was in a damp, dank basement, unloved and forgotten. Rain thought of her child again. "I am getting scared," Rain said, even though she had been scared for a long time. "I want to get out of here." "So do I," Matt said as he dropped the bear. "There is another door here." Rain took another look at the bear, and followed Matt and Glory.
