Toffee Waterday and Wes England returned home from picking up Toffee's new car. The week after she had found out about Dawn Sundale being her sister, she had been restless and had spent a lot of her time planning her new home, and shopping. It had been a tough week, and she had not spoken to Dawn, or her parents. Wes turned to her as she parked the car outside his home. "You do know that this car won't make you feel any better about this whole situation," he said to her. Toffee sighed. "I know, but I need to take my mind off this." "Maybe it's time to talk to Dawn?" he suggested. "I don't know if I can," Toffee told him. "Plus, I think that my parents are going to tell her about it." "It's up to you, but I think you need to be doing something," he told her. "Planning this wedding is one thing, but planning to forget about your problems will make the day less special."
"That day will be special whatever is going on in my life. I want to marry you, and nothing will keep me from being happy," Toffee told him, smiling as she opened the car door. "Let's get inside," Wes said, as he took her hand and led her to the door.

Grace Roundhouse sat in her new apartment, with her two friends who had helped her move in. Rachel Tild, who was putting her brown hair in a ponytail, was moving in with Grace today, and Ellie Moore would be moving in after her apartment in the city sold. Grace had needed some friends with her, as her life had changed to the point that being alone scared her. Rachel had needed a place to live, so this was perfect for her. Ellie owned a local diner, so this move would also help her out a lot. Grace held her stick up as she pointed to the large window behind the women. "I love this window," she said, looking out over the town. "This whole place is perfect." "I am so glad you asked us to move here," Rachel told her. "I need to thank you two, I am so happy to have friends her at last," Grace said, looking at the floor. "This has been a tough few months and I am happy it's finally over."
"Do you think they will catch him?" Ellie asked. Grace sighed. "I don't think so, he left without a trace." "I hope one day they do, he deserves to be punished for what he did," Rachel said, anger in her voice. "He will get what's coming to him," Grace said, thinking about all the times he had hurt her. "I know he will."

Josh Hallow followed Holly Sundale into a room. She picked up Nathan, and turned to find Josh standing behind her. "Oh," she said, startled. "Hey you." "I wanted to tell you that I got a job," he said, walking over to her and tickling Nathan. Nathan giggled, as did Holly. "That's great. What are you going to be doing?" "Waiting tables at this diner called Ellie's," Josh told her. "It's a good summer job, and I will get some money in." "I know that place, it's nice. Do you know what you are doing after summer break?" Holly asked, as she looked at Nathan playing with the choker around her neck. "I have been thinking about trying to get into your school. I dropped out of my last one not so long ago, so I won't be far behind," he explained.
"You should think about it?" Holly told him. "It's only another year for you right?" "Yeah, it's scary to think I will be eighteen soon," Josh admitted. Holly laughed. "Well, it's only a year and you will get so much out of it. I say go for it." Josh thought for a while, then finally said. "I will have to think about it." "Anyway, this little guy is hungry," Holly said, kissing Nathan on his nose. "Let's go downstairs." "He is getting big," Josh said as they left the room. "I know, it seems like yesterday he was this tiny thing in my arms," she said, as she closed his bedroom door.

Richard and Mel Sundale sat with Dawn, their daughter, in her home. They had told her that they needed to talk to her, however now they were here, they had no idea how to explain what was going on. Dawn broke a long silence by saying. "You shaved your beard dad." "Erm, yes," he said, seeming to snap out of a trance. "I see you are fitting a new carpet," he added. "Yeah, I want the floor to be warmer for Nathan." "Okay Dawn," Mel suddenly said. "We can't put this off anymore. When you were six, you had a sister. I don't know if you remember. However, she was troubled after your father and I separated for a time, and she rejected us. We tried to make it work, but it was too late. So we put her up for adoption," Mel told her. Dawn was stunned, however she knew what to say. "I know that I had a sister. I do remember, and I remember you talking to me about what happened. But it was so long ago, I forgot what you told me. I know that I was scared of asking you about her.
I think it was because I was scared of the same thing happening to me. Then, when I got to my teens, I totally forgot about her and I guess I moved on," Dawn told them. "I came to terms with the fact she went away and I moved on, but why are you telling me about this now?" Mel looked at Richard. "She came to find us, a week ago. Your mom was with you here. We wanted her to find us if she wanted to. I guess normally it wouldn't be a huge thing, but when I told her who you were, she said that she knows you," Richard explained. "Wait, so I know my own sister and had no idea who she was?" Dawn asked. "Who is it?" Richard cleared his throat, he was nervous about her reaction to this. "Her name is Toffee Waterday." Dawn's jaw dropped. She felt dizzy and sick, and had no idea what to say. For years, she had been best friends with her sister, and had no idea who she was. She looked at her parents. "How can this happen?" "We don't know honey," Mel said to her, placing her hand on Dawn's knee. "Maybe it was just bad luck that this happened." Dawn nodded, trying to take this in. "I don't think it was bad luck. I know my sister. I guess it will be eaiser to deal with this as I should be able to talk to her about it. It's strange, no bad luck," Dawn said. "That's what I need to do, talk to her." As Dawn stood up, Mel grabbed her arm. "Wait. Take a walk, and think this through. Don't rush into this," she told her. Dawn turned to her. "I guess your right."
