Noah Snowstep had agreed to take over his fathers company, after his brother Vince decided to leave America and head the London office. Noah was undecided if he really wanted to do this. He was about to retire from soccer, and wanted to work on something. So this, in theory, was the ideal thing for him. Yet, deep down, he felt unhappy with it. His brother had father had brought him to the office so he could get used to the place. Any doubts about him not feeling happy here were shattered when he saw the building. It was beautiful and the lakes around it made it stand out. Noah stood in awe.
"Dad, this place is amazing," Noah said, his voice filled with excitement.
"You've not seen the place in years. Its become a very nice place, with a lot of work and money gone into it," Monty said, beaming with pride.
Noah noticed the company logo on the wall behind him, and asked about it.
Monty cleared his throat. "Its the Latin symbols for our names, well the first letters of our names. Yours is the end one. It goes from my fathers name on," he explained. "So, my name is second, you see?"
"Yeah, its nice," Noah said.
"Well, time for the tour," Monty said as he led Noah to the entrance.
Noah entered the office. The large door opened into a larger reception. A fountain threw water up three floors, up to the main office. Noah was entranced. He turned to Monty. "Dad, I know I will be happy here."
