| Toffee Waterday picked up the phone on her motel nightstand. "Hello?" she said, her voice croaky as she had just awoken. "Toffee, its Noah Snowstep. I am calling to tell you you got the job," he told her. Toffee woke up at that point. "Really? Oh wow. I cant believe it, that you so much," she said, beaming with joy. "One thing though. | Toffee got to the office as soon as she could, and started work. She sat at a computer, trying to fix a problem when Wes came over to her. "Hey Toffee." Toffee was startled. "Hey Wes. I got the job." "That explains why you are used a computer anyway," Wes joked. "How are you?" "Fine. Happy I have this job!" she said. "This damn thing, print, print!" she yelled. "Need a hand?" he asked, as the printer started to moan. "Guess not." "Thanks anyway. Hey, I am moving into my new place tonight, would you help me out moving things?" she asked. |
